Like I said, I've only heard one song – Blood Brothers – and it's got the same vocal effects as The Strokes. The first couple of times I heard the song, I thought perhaps The Strokes actually made a second album.

I think you'll like it.As for the B/sparks comparisons,some same members,entirely different musical genre.B/sparks are much more in the alt/country vein whereas Tyde are much more psych poppy.

Saw her last night on one of the late night talk shows and if that song is any indication,I'll be steering clear of the new one.Without a doubt,she did still look good though,for what it's worth.

You seem to have the complete opposite middle age rock tastes to me. I really like rings around the world, I think it is SFA's best.

why thank you for editing my post. it's nice to know that i can take my music cues from a student at university of maryland, and someone who is obviously the paragon of music taste and knowledge. nevertheless, i do find the new grandaddy to be quite good and interesting. this album is quite a step up from "sophtware slump."

out better records in the past or are capable of much more IMHO.So,do you guys
listen to any of this stuff?Do you like/dislike any of them.i'd apprecaite
some feedback if you see fit.I'd say anything above is a welcome addition to
