how could woxy have skipped "here" by pavement? shocking.
bags, have you tried the various feed options? i haven't had a problem using real audio.
WOXY Gone for Good??

So does anyone have any good recommendations for a WOXY replacement. I will miss its lite indie fare immensley. I guess it was the first place I heard a whole load of bands and songs I now really love…..
Metric and the Tyde are two faves that come to mind.
I'm biased because me best mate DJs Thursday morning from 6-9 ("The Continental Breakfast of Rock"), but WVKR from Vassar is really pretty good.

I'm biased 'cuz I dj'd on WVKR for 3.5 years. Ah, the old days. I hear the studio's just amazing now. I was Sunday 7 - 9 pm in my prime. I can't believe you can stream it. What a dream that would have been; could have made my mates at other schools listen in.
The two to three hour shows will vary greatly based on the dj. Used to be until about 6:00 p.m. it was classical, jazz, folk, etc.

It worked for me 20 minutes ago, but yep, it has gone now. Ahh, there is always hope.
That article had more than a few inaccuracies in it, which is why I'm guessing it was taken down.

For those keeping track of all the songs played, here's the playlist through 5/12.
WOXY's web guy will also post a complete list in the coming days, but this is a good start.

There has been a mass migration to KEXP this morning. A lot of WOXY listeners are pledging contributions to them and they're giving us shout-outs on the air.

KEXP seems a natural choice.
Some people have been talking about some indie station on Netscape Radio. I haven't heard it.
