rocktober!

okay, they ain't all october shows, but:

930:
flogging molly, cramps, living colour/public enemy, trail of dead, ministry, deftones, helmet…

black cat:
dillinger escape plan, mission of burma, hidden hand/wolly mammoth.

the nov show of slayer/mastodon is a must-see. i know nation sucks, but…

today sep 26th has some serious doom metal at the warehaus, featuring the withered, if yer wondering. support snailhook if nothing else. check it out.

gawddamn i'm glad summers done.

also, sources say theres a snuff project, (sounds of) kaladescope, and brandon butler (ex-canyon) show at dc9 in a few weeks. should be pretty hot.
Clutch on 11/23 in Towson and Slayer on 11/24 in DC will be the greatest two day event of my life. I teach, and we have these days off for Thanksgiving break. Praise God. My ticket purchases for Ministry/Thrill Kill Kult, Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, PJ Harvey, and Pixies shows have me explaining to my wife that her XMas list will have to be small this year.

welp…the good news is they are now playing DC in Rocktober!
10/20 at the Bestway in Mt Pleasant!
so rocktober is not panning out how I'd planned
got NIN/JAMC in

But had to skip all these good ones: Leon Bridges, King Khan or Detroit Cobras

next week looks good
Sun - Lucero (only one I have a ticket for)
Wed -Black joe Lewis
Fri - GBV
Sat - Priests
Sun - Big Theif

I restate my opinion that you have the worst musical taste of anyone on this board by a country mile.
