just got a $100 gift card to circuit city and can't really think of what to get … my stereo and computer are as upgraded as i want right now … any ideas for a ~$100 gadget to get?

Satellite radio if you don't already have one. And if you do, go ahead and buy another one. Sirius and XM are pretty comparable, so it's pretty much personal choice.

socom 3 is awesome, but just rent it from blockbuster or whereever. it takes a weekend to beat…if you played the older ones…

my brother in law said he beat "gun" in just over a day and he sucks at video games. so with that said, i'd lean towards one of your other choices
