I like it a lot. The top 90% is fantastic. The bottom looks a bit cluttered, just because of all the different fonts.

I have to leave the 9:30 club logo the same, that 9:30 font messes with every poster I do. That was the hardest part of doing this poster.

Here's a question…

I want to get these printed soon, still waiting for approval from RJ's manager (they probably will), but does anyone know if anyone is opening up that night. It would suck to get these printed and then later find out that someone else has been added to the bill. Or should that matter? Just asking.

nice poster. and I agree with the guy ^^^ there, a bit much on the bottom.

maybe this guy will show up…

Hopefully Aceyalone will be performing with him. They have an album coming out together this year and i thought i read that aceyalone would be touring with Rjd2 in Feb.

The tour schedule on pitchfork doesn't have Aceyalone listed for the DC show…

That is one of the best posters I've ever seen. I'm not an expert on show posters, but my opinion is that too many of them try for arty when the purpose is to promote the show. You've got it all covered.

a. Art. Good, striking images.

b. the right things are prominent, i.e the performer's name, the date, and the venue.

If I was walking down the street this poster would definitely catch my eye, and isn't that the point?

Is there an award (must be) for concert/promotional posters? If so, you should enter this. Excellent stuff.
