FOO FIGHTERS SHOW

thanks for posting the set list! i can't believe they really played that many songs…the whole show seemed to fly by.
I would have KILLED to hear them play Aurora and Generator at the Patriot Center show. You guys are lucky. Sounds awesome.

Well, now there's a setlist up (THANKS swell!!!), so you can see what you missed. They've been closing out all the arena shows with Monkeywrench, so I thought that was going to be the end as well.
BTW, that was an amazing job by Josh and the rest of the crew at the club. Two shows back to back with the second one being the type it was and everything went down 100% perfect. You can tell these gusy are professionals and, while they know how to enjoy their jobs and have a godo time at it, they all take the job veyr seriously. The 930 is an amazing place and always a great experience. Thanks to all of you who worked last night so all of us could have such a great time!
For anyone that got the paper setlist from the stage, what were the differences between the setlist and what they actually played? I'd be curious to see how much the deviated from it..

Thanks - Great night!

I can actually tell you this!

We got five extra songs, all in a row in the middle, that were not on the pre-arranged setlist:

11. Generator
12. Gas Chamber
13. The One
14. I'll Stick Around
15. Part of Message In A Bottle - Taylor singing
16. Cold Day in the Sun - Taylor singing

We didn't get one song that was on the setlist – End Over End was listed to come between Born on the Bayou and All My Life

Definite thanks to the whole crew and especially Josh (for letting me into the club to use the washroom. All that tea while in line was taking it's toll on me!). I am constantly reminded of why this is my favorite club.

And yes Bags - we were right above where Dave did his "bar crawl". Here's a bird's eye view:

I would love to see lots of pictures (good ones, not fuzzy phone pictures) – if anyone has some good ones, I'd be interested in peaking at them on Ofoto or some such thing…

Hell, email 'em to me, I got 2 GB of space in my Yahoo account!! nancy_bagot@yahoo.com

It's an Angry Samoans cover.
I just want to add a "me too" to everything said above. The show was just fantastic. Everyone (including the band) seemed to be having a helluva time. Dave playing on the bar was priceless. Lots of hits. A few rarities. A couple of covers. Perfect. The club did a great job of handling the whole thing. I'm sure it was a logistical nightmare, but they seemed to have everything flowing along quite smoothly.

It's very rare that I'm willing to get in line hours before showtime, or stake my ground right in front of the stage and stay there all night. I'm too old and too impatient for that. But I did both yesterday and it was worth every second of my time, and worth every crowd surfer that landed on my head. Thanks to everyone involved for a great f–king night.

Nice to meet you xcanuck. And Bags - always a pleasure :)

Ditto, I never do either – line up or get up close and stay there all night. But, the night kind of lent itself to that, and I'm happy I did both.

Hell, I usually show up about 5 minutes before the headliner's scheduled to go on.
damn i knew i should of sucked it up and said f-work.
I just got home from work. Now I am going to grab an ice cold Dew and climb into the hot tub. May just spend the night there!

You know, you would think that, but I can assure you that there are many people WAY beyond me. Two chicks in front of me at the show had FF tatoos on the back of their necks. Ah, not happening for Bags, my friend.

But it's true…when I see a few shows, there's Foo Fever for a few weeks, no doubt. ;)
There were so many people taking pics, does anyone have a link to there pics? I didnt think theyd let cameras in so of course i didnt bring one. I was 5 people from the front without a camera, so mad.
I know there's not much more to say, but I'm sad that this show is fading into the past…I'm still all pumped up!
