so what are the chances i asked you for a light at industry? for its first two years, i was part of the furniture there… funny, i was wearing my industry "shut-down party" t-shirt at my send-off party the other weekend (white rabbit & cribs soiree).

i used to go to a lot of freebase parties in New Orleans, before Disco Donnie got shut down. the average "raver" there tended to wear regular clothes. Maybe 20 percent were of the Candy Raver variety.

you were partying in T.O. in the second half of the ninties and never heard of industry nightclub? it was on king west, past bathurst. for a while it was "the" nightclub as far as clubbing and house music went. flew in national and international DJs every saturday. for me (and many others), it was my personal studio 54 - fabulous people, rampant hedonism, great music, weekly meet-ups with friends… it was the right place at the right time. they did a reunion party in 2003 which was fun.
