Wednesday, May 16, Black Cat, Washington, DC
Dead Heart Bloom performs on the backstage with The Jackfields and Molly Gold. Doors at 8pm. Dead Heart Bloom around 9pm.
Damn, I wish this were another night! Did Dead Heart Bloom release a new album?
Yes, they did. I posted about it around here somewhere a couple months ago but have no idea where. You can go to their website and get all the info.
Did anyone go to this show? If so, how was it?
I just downloaded the new album for free at
http://www.deadheartbloom.com/html/music.htm. It's mostly acoustic arrangements with some luscious harmonies. But I think I prefer the more varied arrangments (cello, violin, etc.) on the first album. The new album is peppier though.

I really like the new one. I also enjoyed the debut.Gotta be in the mood, but it's beautiful IMHO.

Boris is an incredible musician. So sensitive yet very intense in his own way.
