yeah. . you all found another hypocrite! huzzah! perhaps everyone can answer me this question- how does this impact his ability to serve in congress? i don't see him stuffing $40,000 dollars in his congressional office freezer, or threatening another member of congress when questioned about a pet project in his district, or any other member of congress under investigation for using their office for illegal gain. as karen hanretty wrote in today's "the hill"-
"But Iâ??m not as troubled by his story as I am by other, much greater, allegations of public mistrust. Namely, Alaskaâ??s Sen. Ted Stevens (R), the four Republican members of congress in California who remain under federal investigation and others (my goodness, I canâ??t keep track of all the names these days) who are currently under federal investigation for misusing the power of public office."
where are all the people demanding the resignations of these members of congress (in both parties), who are doing far more damage to this country than one man's dalliances in an airport bathroom.
I once got disorderly in an aiport bathroom...
The only thing people are doing in this thread is laughing at his staunch denial of his dalliances in the airport bathroom.

But you're right, I have stuck mostly with pointing out how absurd his rebuttal has been.
Bingo. I couldn't care less about what he does behind the closed stall doors; I agree Bede that his remains just as capable of doing his job now and he did 10 days ago when I didn't give two shits about him.
But I do find it hysterical that a political homophobe is cruising airport bathrooms.

The Statesman also explored dozens of allegations that proved untrue, unclear or unverifiable.

Well, be careful with the fooot-tapping in Union Station AT LEAST.

"My sense is that most of the people who engage in bathroom sex are living closeted lives," Foreman [Matt Foreman, executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force] said. "If you're open, you can hook up on line, in a bar or even through your church."
William Leap, an anthropology professor at American University, said his research indicated that up to half of those who engage in male bathroom sex would consider themselves heterosexual.
"You've got several groups of folks," he said. "Happily married men with children who enjoy having sex with men every so often, and also self-identified gay men who enjoy the thrill of anonymous sex."

What would you guys consider to be worse? Crusing for gay sex in an airport bathroom, or throwing a tantrum and physically assulting a baggage employee because your flight is delayed?
Is the assaulting offender lobbying hard for strict anti-assaulting laws in an attempt to cover up his/her own hidden love of assaulting?

I'm not sure what his stance on gay marriage has to do with anything.
Personally, I'm in favor of government recognition of gay marriage, and for churches to have the freedom to be for or against it.
However, I can understand the opinion of those who say that marriage is and should remain a heterosexual institution.
What does gay marriage have to do with gay sex in an airport bathroom?

I heard back in 1996 that he was gay. And that whole foot-tapping thing is old school gay cruising. Clearly he needs to get on Craigslist. No irony in the name there either.
No but he does represent the party that touts itself as being more pro-woman AND pro-union worker, just as the gay sex guy represents the party that touts itself as being more pro-morals. But I guess battering female union workers is less exciting than soliciting gay sex.

I am totally cool with gay people and I do not oppose government recognition of gay marriage…but as for this guy being against them, I understand your point…wouldn't gay marriage take the excitement out of his gay bathroom encounters?

Admittedly, I didn't look at your link and assumed it was about Cynthia McKinney. You do bring up a valid point.
For the record, I do think that this shouldn't be a big deal because of his political affiliation, and shouldn't be taken as anything other than a repressed, self-loathing gay man being busted for hypocritical behavior. He's certainly not lied any more or less than most other politicians.

I bet Hillary Clinton and tons of other Democrats who are against gay marriage wouldn't refer to themselves as "anti-gay".

but unlike craig, hillary doesn't court and align herself with right-wing religious conservatives who are openly anti-gay. and then go old-school cruising for gay sex in public restrooms.
