I will agree with the others by saying listen to anything that you enjoy. Musical taste is largely subjective.

However, when I look at this list I can help but think that ten years from now you will think back on what you listened to at this point in your life and say, "what the hell did I hear in that".

If you are over 15, please don't use the word "prolly". It sort of invalidates anything else you might say that actually may be meaningful. Thanks!
Is it okay to use "dunno"? I've seen everybody from 8 to 80 use it.

And you can't answer dunno, aw'ight?

Dunno 'bout that. But the "w" & "'" are superfluous. Aight???

Word.
It's not as gay as "prolly", but it's still incorrect.

I've seen some quality thread jacking in my day, but this has been some mighty fine work. Kudos will be given to who ever can take it full circle with a mandatory cute lyrical reference included.

I listen to the melodies! I think for me it doesn't matter what style of music it is…..it just has to hit me in some way. I don't just go for the cliche. The music I listen to know I will listen to later on in life, it will just grow. I'm definitely not a big fan of the #1 song in the country "This is why I'm Hot". Think it is just a played out saying. Someone put their top ten on here and let's disect. That is if you're not afraid!!!
Nobody who doesn't speak with a real UK accent is allowed to use the word 'shite'.
