I always look at metacritic:

The Stooges are getting a 40 on metacritic, and Air a 57.

Ouch.

Lists the Tuesday releases every Monday.
I can't expect The Stooges album to be all that good.
Do you hate The Strokes accross the board?

Albert's album sounded like the third album I wanted the Strokes to make that they didn't. A lot of it is very Strokes-y, but some of it is quite different…it's still a light pop-record but a little bit more introspective, and he has a different voice.

I say check it out anyway. It's a solid record.
Oh cool, new Kaiser Chiefs.

I was talking about The Stooges, but I'll check Albert Hammond Jr.'s album out.
Oops, and I was talking to Reod Dai…I need to start quoting, eh?
I wouldn't really say I hate them across the board, I just don't enjoy them for some reason. Come to think of it, I think it's probably their singer's voice that turns me off the most, so perhaps I'd like Hammond's better. The fact that Sean Lennon and Ben Kweller help out a bit bodes well for the album, that's for sure. I'll have to give it a try if I get a chance. Thanks. :)

Oh, and scratch the Bright Eyes. I remember thinking some time ago that it would probably be on sale at the show, but then forgot until right when I was walking up to the club.

March 20 is pretty huge, too, by the way.
