damn damn damn, wish they would play 9:30

thanks for the video, is awesome
I've had conversations with their manager before, spoiled by the fact that she outright lied to me about why they weren't playing DC on their last trip through. We could bombard her with e-mails about them playing DC.
Heh heh. Or you could all go to sites with a TourVote button and enter your requests for Muse to play live locally….

that was probably my favorite moment of the set as it's my favorite song of theirs.

i took a video during "time is running out" with my digital camera.. you can't see too much except lots of lights flashing but the sound is great, if anyone wants to see/hear..

right-click, save is probably easiest:

dude, you had to have been like no more than 5 feet from me! crazy

It took me two and a half hours getting back home to Arlington. Couldnt believe it!!!!!!!! But the memories running through my head from the concert helped my sanity.
me and my people left during Friday I'm in Love (10:46pm EST) and we were at a the diner in Laurel at 11:05pm EST. :D and i was home (where i was crashing) at 11:30pm!

now how cool is it to live in VA?
BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!
We left after the first encore and drove to Arlington to get my car, and then back into DC, and I was home by midnight. 1h 15 minutes later. But we were parked right by the exit.
I think I just made a bad guess, where it splits towards Richmond and Silver Springs I usually go towards Richmond but it was backed up, so I went towards Silver Springs and just take GW Parkway. Little did I know about the construction. What a nightmare. Of course my G/F got to sleep the whole time so it didnt bother her none.
Silver Spring, dude. Silver Spring.

we got out of the lot quick, it was 495 that was hell…
i took 29 back to the city…easy going, no traffic at all
kudos to the tip about parking in the sears lot. we parked there and it offered the following perks:
1. drinking in the car before the show (32's of high life in paper bags, no less!)
2. making out with my SO in the car before the show (see #1)
3. quick walk across the street to the show.
4. no waiting to leave the show.
5. see #2, repeat after show.
6. drive home happy.
yeah I don't know what the hell was going on on 495 - luckily we could get out at Georgia just as the bakup started

I had a friend with me who lives on Cap Hill, so we went some other way…BW parkway to somewhere Hill-ish. I was home pretty quickly. Oh, and I did have a designated driver, so no worries if you saw me drinkin' those STRONG bourbon & gingers at 932. ;)
Nice article. Thanks for the link.

SMITH: You know, I've shaved my head three times in the last twenty years but no one really notices!

I was beginning to think I was the only person who knew this. The first time I saw The Cure he basically had a crew cut and was wearing a polo-type shirt. We had quite a laugh over that.
I remember his hair got cut REALLY short for the "Why Can't I Be You?" video as well and my sister freaked over that. He looked good actually, LOL. All in all, I have to say that the Cure are still a band that I enjoy…I've listened to them for 18 years, hard to believe it.
*sobbing*

i had to sell my PIT tickets (4 of them!) because i had to go out of town

i missed a board gathering, brennser's dj debut, free drinks, seeing people i never have a chance to talk to anymore because the f'n work monster is a tyrannical bastard and doesn't let me post on the board, kosmo's djing, checking out the improvements to mpp (which are clearly faublous if they were up to snuff for you impossible tp please peeople!) meeting new board members, and seeing interpol, mogwai and the cure 10 F'N FEET FROM THE STAGE!

*SOBBING*
Nah, lily, it wasn't really all that. I mean, come on, Rhett wasn't even there!
;)
