How many times do i have to sign up for the email?

The first time i signed up 3 times before i got an email and now…they've stopped.

i still get the Volume newsletter but not the email. effing eff.

Am I the only one with this Problem?

No. I've tried a few times but never got anything. Haven't tried in a couple of years, and it sounds like nothing's changed.

since we're gripping - uh, i mean, offering constructive feedback - about 930 communications, let me share my concern: inability to unsubscribe. i moved in october, and have now sent 4 requests to unsub my old address - hopefully fourth time is a charm, first three haven't worked. send requests both via the form and via direct e-mail. in the end, 930 is wasting postage and print - i get two volumes at my old place, neither of which is needed.

I used to get the e-mails, and then one day they just stopped. I tried signing up again, to no avail. :(

ive now changed my addresses twice in just over a year and luckily have had no problems. only had to email them once and it was taken care of. sometimes took a bit of time, but its always worked out. maybe ive lucked out. and i got my newsletter pronto in the mail (in NYC).

I'm pretty sure the way it works and Kosmo can back me on this…is that if you sign up for email and don't receive email alerts it is usually because the other posters have voted to ban you from receiving said email alerts. I do recall your name coming up for vote. I voted in your favor but alas, I was in the minority.

Yup that would be me trippin on all the power given to me as admin… but seriously did ya check yer spam box? and it's entirely possible that there is a problem with your ISP, as even the most legitimate bulk mailers get blocked on occasion

No, I assumed that he was attempting to be sarcastic, but it was done so badly I wasn't sure. Also, it's built in to my personality not to be a sarcastic dick to everyone (just those who deserve it, though I don't claim to be any good at it due to lack of practice), so I sometimes have trouble understanding why other people choose to act that way. Was it really necessary to turn a serious, legitimate question into a joke?

Nice Googling (unless you actually recognized that, which I seriously doubt). No one's ever called me on my username before. I've been using it online for almost ten years now, starting back in tenth grade or so during a short phase in which, yes, I played Magic. I just never stopped using it, for some reason.

And your statement wasn't "overly sarcastic". In fact, I'd say it barely qualified as sarcasm, unless there's an inside joke of which I'm not aware. I was seriously asking you to clarify yourself, because the lack of any obvious wit or humor made me consider the possibility that you were actually being serious. The idea occured to me that you might be referring to something other than the normal mailing list, something I didn't know about. It really wasn't necessary to jump all over me about it (directed more towards HoyaSaxa than you).

And yes, HoyaSaxa, Bright Eyes fans are lesser people. We should all be dragged out into the street and shot for our horrible taste in music. Pray tell, how may I learn to be as enlightened as you?
