I dont buy that at all. There are plenty of people, for example at least 5 posters on this board who are annoying, yet they carry on regardless. They must know they are annoying or assholes as they have been told often enough.

I have been called an asshole 10 times today already. But I am just being me. I dont know how to be anyone else and false platitudes and fake fucking smiles are an anathema to me.

I consider it an accomplishment when some of the retards on this board call me annoying.

Despite my normal paranoia, it doubt it's me, since I haven't met anyone from the board yet. Unless it's just a general "that guy standing there by the bar being all quiet is really annoying me" kind of thing.
