So it turns out I can't make it.

If someone on here wants two tickets (face value) let me know before I put them on craigslist.

I'm in Rosslyn but could meet you downtown as well.

You may want to check in the Tickets wanted forum. Someone posted a note last night looking for tickets.

I'm so friggin' excited for this show. We can expect a lot of stuff from the first LP it looks like. And reports are that she has a very rocking band. What time are most of you getting there? Right at 6?

wow - really, really good show

there are some bands/artists who sounds better on CD than live, then there are some that only make sense when you see them live - I've always liked, not loved, PJ Harvey, but damn if she didn't blow me away tonight - that voice, that voice

fabulous! and the crowd was waay into it - I'll leave it to others for setlists and details - suffice to say I recognized about 70% of the songs (I have her first and most recent two albums) and liked everything I didn't know

Great show. New songs much, much better live than on record. She has a great voice too - I'd never seen her live until tonight. Very good mix of old songs and new.
