A news reporter called to get Bush's view of Americans now having to work shitty jobs because he has ruined the economy. So he reporter was being transfered to the campaign manager and there was a fuck up and he heard what the campaign manager said which was, if people are upset with their jobs they should take Prozac.

Oh how I wish that could be substantiated. It seems totally believable based on how I see the man. When I watched his most recent primetime press conference to discuss the Iraq situation - I thought repeatedly that he appeared near meltdown. I've never seen a worse speech by a high-level govt official.

It's not even a party issue - it's an issue I have with what appears to be a very unstable, ineffective and not too sharp leader…who happens to have been 'elected' the caretaker of the most powerful nation on this earth. I could care less about anyone's drug use, alcohol use etc. Except in one instance - when it's being done by the President of my country who's making daily decisions like he's playing a war game.

I hope this story gets legs.

What I'd love to hear is persuasion from a Bush supporter. Not Republican party support, but rational for endorsing Junior. I've got many intelligent (at least I used to think so! :D ) friends that are going to vote for him & I really can't get a good reason why out of the them. They'll mumble stuff about taxes, etc. - but what they are really doing is just pulling the old party line. I just can't believe that choosing sides can be so blinding.
So…what's so good about him?

Funny how I only have a high school diploma and have a much better job then the bitches who are complaining about wanting better jobs and they have more of an education than I do. Don't be some damn lazy and apply yourself, quit blaming everything on the President and take some of the responsibility. Hell, I could get an even better job than this one but I believe I owe this company two more trials before I move on. I hope for everyone's sake Kerry gets elected, then everything will be perfect by the sounds of it….I'm all for a perfect world…..LOL

That's a perfectly logical response. And I'm all for anyone voting for the political party that best represents their position in life, ideals, etc. But don't you sometimes have to look at the individual who is actually representing that party? Or maybe you really do like Bush - and if so - I'd love to hear a few positive reasons why.

It's amazing how this election is galvanizing people. Repubs say "Can't vote for a Democrat - gotta vote for Bush." Dems say "Anyone but Bush."
