New U street spots

anyone been to Busyboys and Poets (worst name ever?) or Tabaq Bistro?
tabaq is a little too fancy for my tastes generally, but it's worth checking out just for the rooftop deck (glass ceiling, nice view of the monument).

but it doesn't seem to pricey, right? what would a dinner for two with drinks run you?
Busboys is pretty good. I checked it out when one of my pals started bartending there. They're only like 3 weeks old and already the place seems to be a buzz name. Good for them. Anyway, I dig it there cause they seem to make an effort to be community minded. Non-yuppie ownership/staff. Host a lot of artsy group meetings and events over the week. And I like the name.

didn't have dinner, but vodka tonics i think were around $6-7.
I want to check out Tabaq Bistro next time in town. The review makes it sound like my sort of place.
