The name for lounge pre-dated the Hooties' affiliation with the hotel. One of the Hooties is from Rockville though, near Shady Grove road, actually, I think.

Hey, quit hating on Gaithersburg. Anyway, my Hootie story is I sold a tuna sandwich to the guitar player. I work at a golf course. He was golfing with his dad before a free show in Rockville. He came into the grill. Out of nowhere, tuna sandwich. Bam. 3 dollar tip too. Cool guy.
