Run for Cover

I'm surprised nobody mentioned it yet– any other Boardies make the Run for Cover show on Sat? I'd be interested to hear others' impressions.
I myself found it a disappointment. The L.L. Cool J set kind of killed the night, with its 15 minute set up time and way too long set time, in my opinion. I would have liked more 80's covers or indie covers and less metal/pop.

I was there. Had a great time. Definitely agree about LL Cool J. Too long to setup and then played waaay too long. The Van Halen group sucked, but in a fun way. The B's and Zeppelin were great. I was very surprised how crowded it was.

I thought the Oasis band did a good job of this.

I'm about the same as the rest; some of 'em were just a great time, then I'd lose attention during others. For the first time, I ended up at a table in the back. Made for a fun evening with a big group of friends. We did run back up front for the B-52s closer.
I, too, was amazed at how crowded it was. I got there at 10:40 and there was a line almost to Cafe Saint Ex. I asked and at that point they'd sold 340 tickets…
