As some of you already know we will be playing DC9 this upcoming Saturday August 9th. Another DC band called "Outland" will be kicking things off and we'd luv to see you there..for MP3s go to www.carteldc.com we may just upload another song to increase yer appetites…see you there!

Do you mean Saturday, August 7th? I'm not trying to be annoying, if it is the 9th (Monday), I can definitely go, but I'm out for Saturday.

Yup…it's part of the EP…one of the "Dovesiest" ones according to some…if you get a chance to go to the DC9 gig seek me out so I can give you a copy of the EP…

Excellent show this evening - I am really happy I chose to hit DC9, hear your band, and get to meet you.

My favorite songs that you played were "Echoes" and "Out Of Sorts." Simply beautiful.

When "At Night" was being sung, the way the vocals were being delivered reminded me of Elefant (yes, a good thing!). :)

I'm looking forward to the EP!

P.S. Redsock, it was cool talking with you/seeing you again!

Thanks a bunch to DJ Medusa and Redsock for making it to the show. If any of you came and I didn't get a chance to see you, then many thanks to you too.

Medusa, I'm quite glad you had a good time at the show..I'll contact you most likely next week to get a copy of the EP in your hands..methinks you'll prolly be at the Elefant show on the 16th so I can hand it to you at that date..

Redsock, Let me know if you are interested in reviewing the cd for Bigyawn so I can get you a copy…

I too had a good time, Cartel are for sure worth seeing. I am looking forward to hearing more of their EP. And yes Fico, reviewing it for BigYawn. It was nice to be back at DC9. Might have to catch Velvet Teen this weekend though.

We have been asked to fill in an empty slot this friday at the Velvet Lounge and we have agreed to it…

Hope to see some of you this friday.. hopefully we'll be done before the Bebel Gilberto show which I was looking forward to attending..
