I heard some high school junior is hosting it in his backyard in Wheaton. 10 bucks at the door and all the keg beer you can suck down for the day!

I can't say for certain… but I think that whole HFS not being HFS might be dragging this concert to the dust. Maybe not literally yet… but it will.

SR-71 i think you mean, though none of the rest of these bands are actually located within 30 miles of Baltimore. Good Charlotte is from Waldorf which is actually closer to DC. Jimmies chicken shack, annapolis and Kix is from like Hagerstown or something which might as well be Pittsburgh!!

I thought Crack the Sky was from Baltimore. Did some research…apparently they first broke in Pittsburgh and later moved to Baltimore. First album was excellent in my opinion. They still play once in a while in Baltimore. They were at the Recher a little while ago.

I think the HFStival should be put rest. That era is over and a new festival should emerge to take its place.

HFStival 2007 will be June 23rd in "baltimore" (read: Merriweather)

so a friend who pretends to know these things, tells me.

but yeah, its happening again, in case you were hoping for it not to be.

i think they're getting Bush to headline.
