a predictably tough victory for the terps against davidson, but they won despite getting not much at all from ebekwe and gist. hey, they ended up covering easy.

thank god xavier, indiana, and msu are going to lose in the second round. other than that, mine is still peachy, though for some reason i have uva going to the final four.

i had duke in the sweet 16, other than that Gonzaga and ODU i had wrong, but not advancing any further. 13-16 today, not great, but mildly disappointing, considering i flip-flopped on VCU/Duke 3 different times and ended up with the wrong choice.

i wonder how many people who had VCU picked them solely out of hatred for Duke.

me too! I go to vcu and for the first time ever I have some semblance of school spirit. damn I really hate duke…at least someone finally took them off their high horse.

i picked vcu over duke. i also graduated from vcu.

I didn't realize there were so many VCU Alums here. I only really watch NASCAR but tuned in as I went to VCU (97-2001). That game was exciting. I didn't know that most of their players are from such small places like Amelia. I was as excited about VCU last night as I was when I got accepted there. A bit of bandwagonig? Perhaps.

I have UVA in my final four too. . A mistake I'm fearing, I think getting accepted to the school definitely swayed my decision.

UVA is not going to the final four. if they get past albany/long beach/tennessee, they will get crushed by ohio state.

i had duke beating VCU but losing to pittsburgh. i had GW over vanderbilt and they got embarrassed. other than that, i got the rest right except for ODU/butler and xavier/BYU.

day one was sort of boring…one upset, and only two close games. hopefully, today will be more exciting.

Woohoo! I picked Winthrop over Notre Dame as well.

Also, my adopted home state U. beats my alma mater.

so whats your record mr rhett? mines a slightly disappointing 19-4. hopefully i can get at least 7 of 8 tonight.

Right now I'm 21-4, including the play-in game. Not bad considering I haven't watched a college basketball game in years. I probably pickd too many first round upsets, but my wife and I are playing a game where you're rewarded bonus points for upsets.
