i know many of us will be at MPP, but if you're not…
Today is the first Friday of the month. That means critical mass.
This one is, as we say, "critical".
Two bicyclists have been killed in the District in the last week. A 62-year old commuter cyclist and a little boy who just got his bike and was killed on his birthday.
Ride for them, and to save us and others.
Dupont Circle.
6pm.
Critical Mass Rules. Bike more. Car less.

I dunno, I like cars and bikes.
Can't we all just get along?

So when my wife was mown down by a cyclist she should have set up her own critical mass for walkers?
As far as I can tell critical mass causes drivers to treat cyclists with less respect, not more.

Or annoying if you are in your car stuck behind a bunch of slow, saggy assed lycra wearing cyclists.

so what does critical mass do? have a bunch of bikers bike slowly on the streets to piss drivers off? or something else?

You all don't realize that when people honk their horns, it is out of elation.
