Talk to me about the Riviera Theatre, please…
Who knows Chicago?
I don't know if Chicago's ever played the Riviera Theater, but at this point they're largely a 'shed' band. Mostly nostalgic, though there can be some decent moments in a Chicago show. Just stay away from their album "Chicago Love Songs" – wow, it's a killer.
Featuring more than 75 minutes of remastered music, LOVE SONGS includes two very special, previously unreleased live recordings, a version of "You Leave Me Now" featuring Philip Bailey of Earth, Wind & Fire on lead vocal and a take on EWF"s "After The Love Has Gone" sung by Chicago's Bill Champlin, who co-wrote the Grammy-winning track. Both songs were recorded during the pop giants' 2004 summer tour, during which both acts performed together at each show's end.

What do you want to know? It's roughly 2,500 capacity, an old theater converted into a concert hall. Reminds me of a bigger version of the Trocadero in Philly…OK sound, there are some "tiered" levels instead of a slope. Parking can be tough in that neighborhood.
Thanks, bearman.
man, i love 25 Or 6 To 4.
Who knows Chicago?
Why, Peter Cetera, of course.

That's my favorite city….go to the Greek Islands for dinner!
Thanks, k8teebug. I will.
Saw Wilco there once. The AC gave out and my friend and I left the venue drenched in sweat from the 110 degree heat. It was gross.
Good sound, from what I could remember. And yeah, the tiered floor is nice.
