No, I didn't see last night's episode.
As I have already told some of you, I broke the hearts of many a young girl this past weekend by secretly wedding Smackette, barefoot on the beach in Laguna.
In an effort to stave off the Paparazzi (and many family members), we convinced our immediate family to come to Laguna Beach to celebrate what was to be a surprise engagement for Smackette. Much to their shock and joy, the surprise was on them as they were there for our wedding.
So in front of 20 of the people closest to us, we had what we always wanted - an absolutely no stress wedding that was as romantic as a wedding could be. And they say romance is dead…
Fico, there were no sightings of any cast members from either OC show. The Bait shop was booked with a secret Gwen Stefani show so we couldn't have the reception there.
And Mankie, no, she is not pregnant.
That's just how we do things in The OC!

I have no respect for Talan anymore. I was reading an interview with him, and he started talking about how he wants to star in some movies and wants to release a cd. Very Paris Hilton, I presume?

Are you planning on a late honeymoon? Maybe during semester break or even next Summer? If so, where to?

We took a few days for a mini honeymoon, but I had to get back to work (part of the problem with a surprise wedding is getting everyone on to your schedule without telling them why). We have an extended trip to Europe planned for our 6 month anniversary in late April, with a stop over in OC and then DC to celebrate with friends. More details to come…
Thank you all for your warm wishes. We couldn't be happier with how we did it and while I don't recommend it for all (know your mothers, they have to be alright with it!), I really hope this becomes the wedding trend of the future. It was simple, unique, elegant and most importantly, STRESS FREE!
