Why do you hate the Eagles so much?

Come on, they have a few songs that are listenable. Particularly the songs Glen Frey, and not Don Henley, sings on.

So why the hatred toward the Eagles?

For me, 2 words. Hotel California. Joe Walsh was the coolest Eagle IMHO. His previous band The James Gang were fantastic.Oh, why the hatred of Aerosmith?I kinda see why today,as they're dinosaur rehash. But, in their heyday, they were pretty damn good. Anything from their debut through the Rocks album is damn fine classic rock IMHO.

I'll give you that the early Aerosmith wasn't that bad. But I think "Dude Looks Like a Lady" and "Love in an Elevator" "Janies Got a Gun" and "Livin on the Edge" are soooo fucking bad, it makes me forget the early stuff. And those are the songs I always hear on the radio.

Back In The Saddle Again or whatever it's called is an awesome song.

I wholeheartedly concur. I gave up on them after Draw the Line. Too much cocaine and ego for their own good.

They've always given me the creeps. UGH!!!

What about "Pink"…they should've been locked up for putting that shit out, let alone all the other shit they've put out, but that is the biggest pile of steaming feces by far. The only decent thing cat-fish-gobbed Tyler has produced is that absolutely beautiful daughter of his.

As for the Eagles, as I get older I can deal with them more. I suppose we tend to mellow with old age. Not a fan, but some songs are acceptable to me that weren't in the past. Hotel California not one of them I might add.

But they did do "Journey of the Sorcerer" which is the incredible song used by the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy BBC Series… and for that only, I give them credit because that song is so awesome! :)

There's no difference between the Eagles and Perry Como. In the 1960s people used the word "square"; we should bring it back! The Eagles are squares and they play to squares.

nice analysis, and will i will add squares with lots of money apparently… weren't the eagles also responsible for bringing about gold circle seating and the high cost associated with those tickets?
