Oh God, not him again. I thought we got rid of him when Bush got elected a second time. I guess he didn't realize we don't care what he thinks.
Katrina.

Global warming is a myth, sir. There is no scientific basis for it. Neither is the link between global warming and bad weather true. You've watched "The Day after tomorrow" too many times.

"The Day after tomorrow" is an exaggeration of what could happen, it would never happen that fast or that dramatically, but there is evidence that the continuing melting of the polar caps could affect the world climate, leading to drought in europe and extreme weather in general
to not want to spend the money or to make poltical treaties based on the available information is one thing, but to say it is a myth is just ignorant and in most cases politically motivated (I have no idea what your politics are so I wont make that assumption)

I'm not claiming New Orleans is the result of Global Warming, I am just saying it is idiotic to blindly say that global warming is a myth, it is not on the same level as square clouds

Katrina and the Waves, is this who we are speaking about? I thought they were ALL WASHED UP!
Evolution is a myth as well.
I thought Sean Penn was moving to France?
Sean Penn's rescue bid sinks
From correspondents in New Orleans
05sep05
EFFORTS by Hollywood actor Sean Penn to aid New Orleans victims stranded by Hurricane Katrina foundered badly overnight, when the boat he was piloting to launch a rescue attempt sprang a leak.
Penn had planned to rescue children waylaid by Katrina's flood waters, but apparently forgot to plug a hole in the bottom of the vessel, which began taking water within seconds of its launch.
The actor, known for his political activism, was seen wearing what appeared to be a white flak jacket and frantically bailing water out of the sinking vessel with a red plastic cup.
<img src="http://network.news.com.au/image/0,10114,5044250,00.jpg" alt=" - " />
When the boat's motor failed to start, those aboard were forced to use paddles to propel themselves down the flooded New Orleans street.
Asked what he had hoped to achieve in the waterlogged city, the actor replied: "Whatever I can do to help."
With the boat loaded with members of Penn's entourage, including a personal photographer, one bystander taunted the actor: "How are you going to get any people in that thing?"

Actually, it's because we have an incompetent Republican as president. No other President, Republican or Democrat would have botched this like this one has.Actually, it's because a lot of people in power didn't bother to plan ahead and because of the last minute actions of a few od our "leaders". I can't out it all on Bush but his actions in this tragedy haven't helped him gain any points in my book.
