I'm normally not one to try to preach to people about donations, but in this case, I will. I have fond memories of traveling to and working in New Orleans. The updates I read about Katrina are heartbreaking.

Please, instead of wasting your hard-earned $12.99 on the new Death Cab or Kanye CDs, give what you can to the thousands of people affected by the storm.
