here's one thing i'm NOT doing this long weekend: sitting in labour day monday traffic. traditionally we clean up the house on monday morning, have lunch and hit the road… tolerable if you only have to go from the cape to boston. but hitting NYC mid-afternoon? no thanks. so i sent the girl off to the drive-in last night while i took a nap, and she napped while i drove all night. took 6 hours to get back, i shudder to think how long it would have taken us had we left at noon instead of midnight.

the party on sunday was cool, not as big of a turnout as usual, but smaller parties are usually cooler anyways.
just got back from hiking up sugarloaf mountain. nature isnt really my thing, but my girlfriend's been asking me to do this with her for awhile, so i finally caved. it was cool though, once we got to the top.
