I really have to applaud you for that guess in the PM.

Oh, my GOD! I just figured it out! Led Zeppelin is playing with Sum 41 and Yellowcard at the Chameleon Club on September 11th!
I'm SO EXCITED! I wonder how they're going to do tickets? This blows Smashing Pumpkins at the 9:30 club out of the water!
Brian
P.S. Hey, take the rest of the week off and spend it in beautiful, sunny Lancaster. Then, Saturday night, come back to catch "The Shack" at the Chameleon.

edit: and pigtails.

This is Zeppelin. Issues like this are very serious.
Even I can't get too excited about this, If the hallowed Smiths start talking shit about reuniting in 2015 I will take a pass on them as well.
Ten years is about the max I'm willing to wait (15 in a pinch) for a favorite to get their shit together and do something productive and by productive I mean new shit, not a greatest hits money train tour.
Notable exceptions Mission of Burma & Dino Jr., but can't imagine too many others getting a pass…Zeppelin, R.I.P.
York Fair? w/ Skynard?
Perhaps its a surprise show from 'Get The Led Out', Philly's hottest Zeppelin cover band??

Be careful – you are in peril of becoming as obsolete as everything you so eagerly mock.

Not to sound like Brian here but the thought of old geezer Jimmy Paige singing The Lemon Song is absolutely horrifying.
Seems to me that very recently I heard someone drop mention of them possibly showing up at some 9/11 show but I picked up on so little of it I'm not even sure I heard things right. (A lot good that was! )

I'm sure it would be horrifying if Page tried to sing The Lemon Song, or anything else for that matter. Robert Plant on the other hand might be able to pull it off, he is currently collaborating with Alison Krauss, kind of a weird combo but what the hell. Page has been doing something with some of the original Yardbirds which could be interesting…I'd like to see it anyway.

I can't take the pressure. I'm going to spill the beans!
on 9/11, bon jovi is doing an early show (6pm) at advance auto parts arena in wilkes barre PA. afterwards (around 9pm), led zep is supposed to play***.
