16 Gig iPod Touch Screen

That's wack. Seriously. Wait two weeks and they'll up it to 123342q4890 gigs.

Though I'm excited they've got the touchscreen for the iPod now.

They're almost there. I won't buy one at 16 GB, but when it gets bigger, it's time for a new iPod. It's all about the wifi.

i cant find out when that takes place though, as i was going to buy this very day…good thing i read the news!

I can't find official news, but I'm guessing flash because the size is so small. There is also a new 160 GB iPod Video (same form factor as 5th Gen).

I'm excited about the 160gb iPod - finally a player big enough to hold a decent sized music collection. $349 isn't bad…even though I loathe giving money to the insufferable Steve Jobs.

The Ipod Touch is flash memory and 16GB isn't close to being enough for me to think about it. My 60 GB got IJacked a few weeks back so I'm pretty set on gettin the 160. Finally I can put it all on there…..60 GB was way short for me.

again, i know, i just wanted to change my plan and buy the phone all at once, 2 blocks from work.

apparently tomorrow Cingular stores will have the phone at the discounted price.

I think the clarendon apple store will have some of the new models in today. I plan on plunking down my $350 ($150 actually…a client just gave me a $200 amex gift card) on one of the 160gb models. That oughta hold me for a while!

Don't forget that with Apple's iPod recycling program, you get 10% off if you bring in your old iPod. Only at Apple retail stores.

ok, so i went to the Apple Store and got my wife the iphone

HOLY CRAP!!!!!

that thing is so awesome. its just so great. its like your ipod, your phone, your laptop.

even the speaker to play your ipod out loud is decent. the way the phone flips from vertical to horizontal is also neat.

i dunno. i suppose if you are a big techy nerd its nothing that new, but to me its definitely the coolest little gadget i've played with

and will be buying myself one soon. :) (as soon as they get bigger than 8 GB)

That sounds great, except that my old one got stolen. Hence, the splurge.

Even so, if had one to off load, it would go straight to craig's list. I've sold so much stuff on there it's ridiculous.

I'm going for 30, cause thats the ipod i have and its plenty, even though i havent put more than 10 on it yet!

i have 380GB at home, so its nice to have such a select group of songs on the ipod, opposed to the ocean i have to swim through at home

though, 8gb is a touch small.
