Who has the best wings in D.C.?

About once a month or so I get a really strong hankerin' for some kickass wings. I always feel let down though at my local bar and grill type places. I'd like some reccomendations please.

Cheers
Yeah this would be some good information to have.
Is there a Hooters in DC yet? I go there for the wings…
I like Wings To Go in Greenbelt (Beltway Plaza). Seriously unappealing venue but damn tasty wings.
I stopped eating meat a couple years ago, but before that my foavorite wings were at Hard Times Cafe. They really are great.

Is this the same operation as the Wings To Go at Dewey beach? Those were some incredible wings, and they always taste good at 3:30 am.
I don't want to offend anyone in here, but I think Hooters wings are terrible.

they've had one just north of verizon center for as long as i can remember going to shows there (which admittedly is only since 2004…)

edit: there's even one at fedex field, didn't know that (search for DC hooters). i've only had their wings once, thought there were very good - but that was after a long afternoon of drinking so my opinion should be given even less weight than usual.

Makes sense ( I moved away in 2003). And I don't actually eat wings - can't stand Buffalo. My comments were along the lines of "I only subscribe to playboy for the articles…"
lucky bar usually has pretty solid wings, but they only come in one flavor. so if you're used to 20 different flavors a la western PA/NY you will be underwhelmed. i like their one flavor quite a bit though.
"Buffalo wings & beer" have decent wings. I'm not sure if I like the wings better or the name.

buffalo wing university has great wings if you want to go out to fairfax
I became a vegetarian 8 years ago. Wings are the only thing that I miss. I put hooters hot sauce on my fake chick'n but it didn't taste right. :-(
i live in the countryside where chicken houses dot the mountain beauty with the sufferings of poultry, concentration camp screams. yum, yum, wings.

More than bacon?
Two great things about College Park:

1. Eating wings at Hard Times
2. Getting wings to go from Wing Zone

Both places have excellent wings.
I was thinking about this very topic ever since yinzer claimed there were no good wings in DC.

I love the wings at Austin Grill, but they are definitely not Buffalo wings.

For Buffalo wings, Ruby Tuesday's does alright if you can put aside the aversion to national chains.

The best wings evah were at Chuck's Spring Street Cafe in Princeton, NJ. Granted, it's been 15+ years since I was last there.
Buffalo Wing Factory in various locations in Northen Va. will do it for ya!

I have to agree, Buffalo Wing University in the City of Fairfax has great wings. And some of the better looking waitresses around too, if you don't mind college girls!
