A girl I knew in high school was taking the math course "Elementary Analysis." She chose a rather unfortunate abbreviation to write on her book cover. Man, was she pissed when I pointed it out.

Even better, during my high school orientation night, they choose a rather…interesting abbreviation for their Introductory Analysis class. I'm a few short days away from 29 and that still makes me giggle almost 15 years later.

There was a dude in high school named Anil, and you can imagine what became of his name. It didn't help his cause that he was something of a suck-ass where teachers were concerned.
