While on the subjects of words....

One interesting and often surprising bit of wordplay is the official name applied to various types of animals who assemble in groups. We often hear of a herd of cows or a school of fish. Then, there are the less familiar references like a raft of ducks, a gaze of racoons or an army of frogs. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what term would be ideal to describe groups of persons like :
A "bummer" of cancer patients.
A "bongload" of investment bankers.
A "series" of girlfriends.
A "wad" of porno stars.
A "whiff" of hippies.
A "bullpen" of lesbians.
A "stench" of Frenchmen.
