QUOTE]At least they got an extra week vacation, and didnt have to watch the winning team celebrate on thier field!
maybe you Yankees have won enough, but when the Sox start bringing home rings, dont come back to Maine with a B on your hat! [/QB]
What do you mean "come back to Maine", you wrote that like you live there or something. I can just imagine how Boston will celebrate when they win, i mean when they won the wild card they all ran out on the field like they had won the damn world series, ESPN had a field day on that.
Also i dont think Jeter has any more of an attittude then the 110 lb Pedro. Well except during bench clearing brawls when he hides in the dugout the whole time until he see's a 72 year old man in a wheelchair crawling towards him, then he'll come out of the dugout when he knows noone else is with 50 feet of him.

Jeter wasnt in the mix for those bench clearing brawls, HE was in the dugout. And Pedro started all of that shit and would kicked EACH and every Yankees ass if he would have had the time.
oh, and back to Maine, cause you used to live there….remember? or do you think you are from New York now? :)

If you're from Maine, wouldn't the Redsocks be closer to your home state. Why aren't you a Redsocks fan…or maybe a Bluejays fan….guess you pick the Yankess for the glory like most do.
I never said it was a bad thing Jeter is a pretty boy, just stating a fact. [/QB]
I like the Yankees because the first baseball card i ever acquired as an 8 year old was Bucky Dent, who was a Yankee. Back then i had no idea about sports or probably where Boston or New York was. Same with football, i like the Steelers cause my first football card was Rocky Bleir. Also growing up wasnt always glorious as a Yankee fan, the 80's and early 90's werent great for us. Don Mattingly deserved better then the years he had there.

Personally I can't wait to see Joe Torre managing the Red Sox next year. Hopefully while some hapless bum manages the $200mil Yankees out of the playoffs, leading to the first public beheading in the Bronx since the Bambino left.

Don't worry oh, Flawd Miller. You get that image deficiency from Daddy Rhett. He still has problems with quoting.
