amen to that. one of my oldest friends lives in camden and showed me what she termed "nothing but the usual" on a thursday night. 8 hours later I woke up naked in her kitchen. The headache was gone in about an hour, but the shit-eating grin lasted for days.

Oy, I am so glad I didn't go. I don't know why – I have the shortest trigger ever when it comes to jams, even if it's coming from one of my favorite bands. Playing a great song, adding to it in a live setting, is one thing, but I just go nuts once it goes on too long, is too much an exercise in "look how great we play…" I don't want to be annoyed so quickly, I just am. One of the things I think about a lot – how people have an almost visceral response to music, what you like, what you don't (at least I do, so I assume others do….I can't talk myself in to liking a band…).

Saw them last night in Towson. I thought the show was great!! They played for two hours and mixed it up with old and new.
The opening band (guy) sucked. Rip off of G. Love & Special Sauce. I like GLSS though.
