There is nothing like walking along the canal drunk at night.

Playing a great song, adding to it in a live setting, is one thing, but I just go nuts once it goes on too long, is too much an exercise in "look how great we play…" I don't want to be annoyed so quickly, I just am. One of the things I think about a lot – how people have an almost visceral response to music, what you like, what you don't (at least I do, so I assume others do….I can't talk myself in to liking a band…).
but their jamming is interminable. i say this as someone who plays improv and loves bands like can and old pink floyd, so i'm not opposed to jamming at all.
Saw them last night in Towson. I thought the show was great!! They played for two hours and mixed it up with old and new.
The opening band (guy) sucked. Rip off of G. Love & Special Sauce. I like GLSS though.
