a DJ performance at merriweather would be weird, espeically with no other acts on the bill…
from TM: Also appearing: Bebel Gilberto and DJ sets from Ursula 1000, Nickodemus, and Thunderball.
i'm betting it's a live TC set since the above DJ sets were specified (hopefully seth will confirm soon). live TC would also mean 3 DJ sets and 3 live acts, i.e. one dj set between each live act.

The fellas are right. This is going to be a Great show, unique local billing. Very impressed, and will sell out on the strength of TC playing but those sleeping on MC will get a great awakening.

lily: the musictoday presale is for GA floor only, which i don't want. the pavilion is reserved (assigned seating), not GA… first chance to get seats is tomorrow's presale which i'm all over.

after much banging away, i eventually got 3rd row left-center, about middle of the row. so not great placement in terms of centering, but close with a great view - and, above all, seats! woohoo!
this is going to be a GREAT show.

Does anyone know what Manu Chao's lineup will be- the stripped-down 5-piece that toured the US last year or (please, lord) the full-on 20something group w/horn section and all that stuff?

update (as if anyone cares) - a buddy chimed in asking to join us, so i got back on TM this morning and got a 3-pack of Center section row P (9th row) - not bad! looks like a work collegue will be taking my previous pair, so all's good :)
i'm kinda surprised that floor tickets are still available, i would have thought that they'd disappear within the first few minutes. i have no doubt that they will be gone shortly, within a day or two.
