I never was into that Paddy-phile stuff, its always those 5th and 6th generation American-Irish that act the fools on the 17th.
but I do get a little Irish every day thanks to my beautiful, immigrant wife from Galway!
So, you've got yourself a Galway Girl?

Steve Earle has a catchy little tune called Galway girl that would probably tickle you and your girl. It's a nice song.
I'll definetly have to get it, is the rest of Transcendental Blues any good?

Not by doodles, she does have some standards.

Every day is "Manchester Day"
Your comment about St. Patricks day was spot on.

They still prefer me to yanks, so it doesn't say much for you lot does it?

You can't keep a good Mic down…..or from falling down. They'll just perfect the pub crawl.

Oh, I beg to differ…the Irish lads are on the losing end of any punch-up with an Irish lass….and why do you think a scouser had to marry a doodle???? No Brit would have them!
:D :p
My Irish ancestry is from Galway, specifically, Conomara(sp?). (I think I'm 3rd or 4th generation; but a European mutt, when all is said and done.) Supposedly we have some relatives in Galway now but I have no clue who they are. My aunt told me not long ago what business some of them are in but I don't really remember. Think it may have been real estate.
