Where can I get a hip $25-$30 haricut in the DC area?

Any suggestions? I want to look more like an aging shaggy haired rocker than a middle aged statistician.

They kept changing staff so much at the old place I went to that I went through 4 hairdressers in less than 2 years…
Not meaning to bring up the Brit/Doodle comparison, but after 18 years I've discovered you can't get a good haircut in the USA at any price.

Two things I ALWAYS did when I went home…buy a pair of Doc Martins and get a haircut, because both are inferior this side of the ocean.
Bang!
uhhhh, i have no idea, which is really sad b/c i've lived in this area all my life and still dont know where everything is….

Grooming Lounge. It's a bit more at $45, but they won't screw up your hair. Ask for Doc.
I need exactly the same, Rhett. I'm really wanting a mohawk but I need somebody who knows what I'm talking about to do it, cause I'm not exactly sure what I want, y'know. I need someone who I can trust to give artistic license. but um I'm not rolling in dough.
My girlfriend in high school gave me one.

isn't that special?
Yes, it was. It certainly looked special. Another guy I know gave me one but it was a bit crooked. That looked even more special.

advice: line up job *before* getting mowhawk (or if focusing only on school, then I guess you don't need to worry)
Your girlfriend is in high school??

That's a little creepy, dude.

I'm in a bind!
At Bang Salon on U street, there's a girl named Nikki that does amazing mohawks.
Seriously, don't pay someone for a mohawk. I know my prior posts suggest otherwise, but I think paying for one steps over some kind of line.
Mohawks at a salon. This thread just keeps getting funnier. Who ever said punk was dead?
glad i could provide a laugh
Ok, I'm only going to say this once. JUST SAY NO TO A MOHAWK.

At this point in the history of both punk and hairstyles, if you're wearing a mohawk, you just look like a riduculous poseur idiot.

I guess it's a good form of birth control though.
ugh for chrisssakes. not a REAL mohawk. what they call a "fauxhawk" or something these days. Kind of like David Beckham…you know??
go to salon 2000 in dupont circle, great haircut and ask for walter.
