Isn't that where all the local high school kids from affluent suburbs go for prom night now?? :D
haha, noo; chances are i'll end up boycotting my own prom. i do, though, know plenty of kids that had their bar and bat mitzvahs back in the day at really nice expensive DC hotels, and i recall really liking that one. i went to a party once at that
one accross the street from the white house or whatever too, but i forgot the name. it was also really nice. i don't really know what else to say here.
Considering this thread has devolved into one about vile sexual diseases,I think you've done quite well…….
Wait until you find someone you love or feel the potential for love, and then have sex.

Hotel Helix near Logan Circle is nice. Like all the Kimptons, it has a lot more personality than the big chains.

Yeah, my GF and I spent a long weekend there last year. It's a nice hotel and the art deco stuff wasn't overdone. The lounge is a bit overpriced but they have a complimentary champagne hour every evening around 5. I highly recommend it. The staff really go out of the way to make you feel like you're having an experience, rather than staying at a cookie cutter Hilton/Marriott/etc.
kimpton's are really nice about extras. the kimpton's in seattle and san francisco all have complimentary wine tastings each afternoon (the seattle hotels feature washington state wines, the s.f. hotels feature napa/sonoma wines), so i'm not surprised to hear that the d.c. ones have some sort of wine/champagne tastings.

Just make sure to wipe your lips before going to the show, though.
hotel helix is nice, but hotel george is better; the rouge is the worst of the lot. look into the melrose hotel. also, the wyndham, not the wyndham city center. then there's my personal choice, the sofitel, overlooking lafayette park. yum. and, of cource, the grand hyatt is wonderful. plus, both westins are ok. the mandarin o. is o.k., but so not worth paying that much. but god, cityzen is the best restaurant ever!!!!! you are treated like a king from start to finish in there. also, the river inn isn't bad.

stay away from any and every hilton; they ALL suck. if the room is under $100, run. the willard is the most overrated.

the hay adams is the best dc can over, but plan on hooking to pay for it.
