Placebo show at 930

Can anyone tell me when tickets for the July 1st Placebo show will be going on sale?? They're all ready on sale for their later shows in all their other cities, just not in DC. Please, someone let me know!!

What are the odds of getting tickets on the door? Or is that just wildly optimistic of me?

Is it possible to get the tickets at the box office days before the concert?! Or do I have to pay fees on fees to the almighty ticketmaster and its consorts :mad:

I am going mad without these tickets. the show is less then a month away and nothing about it on the 930 club site. Ah! its on the placebo site and thats it!oh my! they need to come my way!

I was able to get tickets at the door on showday last time they played here, and that was with a heavy buzz band as an opener (Idlewild) and Placebo was only a couple years removed from their one US hit, Pure Morning. Unless they get a great opener, I can't imagine a big crowd for this show.

Relax, the show will be announced this Thursday. I doubt it will sell out, but if it does it will only be a day or two before.

Buying tickets at the club incurs a $1 fee.

You should all buy tickets whilst you are at the Spiritualized show.

Were you at that show? I cant remember if it sold out now, or not… I remember it being rather full. I thought it sold out on the night of.

But this album seems to be cropping up in a lot more places than the dire Black market music.

I bet it sells out this time.

It's not cool to like Placebo anymore. But when it comes down to it, I think a lot more of those closet Placebo fans who can make it, will be there.

cool or not, I liked placebo from the start. I went to their first show at 930 when they supported stabbing westward.

I like the first two albums, but not the last two.

But one forum has been hacked and the other forum is not working. Useless. I doubt it will sell out in the pre-sale.

well the placebo presale is for volume subscribers as indicated on the 9:30 website… i haven't even gotten my volume yet so i don't have a clue as to what the password is…

the white stripes presale maybe for a radio station or their mailing list

Well, I'm not sure how this got by me, but I've never received an issue of Volume. But I do receive the email messages when they are sent? Jeesh. How does one sign up for it?!

volume is the clubs monthly newsletter sent via the post office.

the last info i got indicated that sending your name and mailing address to subscribe@930.com will get you on the list. there is another address but i can't remember it.
