9:30 club area

what's the area like around the club? Is it sketchy when walking there from taking the metro?? Easy to get to?

The neighborhood is generally ok. It is an easy block and a half from the metro. Just get off on the vErmont Ave exit. When you come up the escalator, U Street is directly behind you. Turn right on U go to 9th and turn left and we are one block up on the right.
