They were told they can only pick them up on the 13th (for the JT show). Is this correct? And below, I wanted to know if he can transfer the name in which the tickets are under (since he lives so far away)?

If they bought the tickets they can pick them up anytime the box office is open, providing they have their confirmation number.

I purchased 2 tickets from someone on Ebay, and when they went to 9:30 today to pick them up, they told him he can't pick them up until the day of the show. He lives a couple hours away and we want to findout how we can get our tickets. Can he transfer the name in which the tickets are under?
(PS - we are all over 21)

Yes, they can be picked up anytime the box office is open as long as they have their confirmation number. No the name cannot be changed once the purchase has been made.
