I've learned that sometimes people here do take jokes seriously. You never know what's going to offend some people. Different people are offended by different things, I guess.

sorry man, I didn't think we were so sensitive here. I really didn't think anyone would take a joke seriously

Those zinc tablets work pretty well. Zinc is a powerful antimicrobial and also boosts your immune system….
But don't you have to take it at the first hint of symptoms? I thought once you were in full-blown sick mode the zinc didn't help.

That's not true. Synergy can be your friend.

GGW, the zinc really kills anything in your mouth and throat. If you have a sore throat it tends to make it better within hours, in my experience.
Synergy? You mean an overdose?

What is that?
sleep   ( P )  Pronunciation Key  (slp)
n.
A natural periodic state of rest for the mind and body, in which the eyes usually close and consciousness is completely or partially lost, so that there is a decrease in bodily movement and responsiveness to external stimuli. During sleep the brain in humans and other mammals undergoes a characteristic cycle of brain-wave activity that includes intervals of dreaming.
A period of this form of rest.
A state of inactivity resembling or suggesting sleep; unconsciousness, dormancy, hibernation, or death.

[disclaimer]Not that I am encouraging the practice[/disclaimer], but back in my wayward youth I mixed Tylenol w/Codeine and alcohol more times than I can recall. I didn't overdose and my liver functions are excellent.

Do you recommend russian roulette too? Codeine (Acetominophen) is one of the few over the counter medicines it is really easy to overdose on (only a small difference between a usefl and a damaging dose). But its not a good idea as it damages the liver, if you want to get rescued.
People often have a combined reaction with it and alcohol that triggers dramatic liver failure and then err death. I think around 50 people die a year in the UK that way.
Not that many really, but its still a stupid way of biting it.

sleep, laying down, no fast movement(jumping spinning in circles, getting up to fast…)
anything to take your mind off your pain.
last time i had the flu i fainted in the bathroom and threw up…good times, good times.
fainting is so much fun, one minute ur walking next your on the ground not remembering shit. falling was the funnest part seeing dots while falling wierd when head comes back, hard to explain how it felt, best feeling ever. they should make a drug that makes you do that….

and, lulu…I like to eat alot of spicy foods (chili, chips and salsa, spicy Indian food)when I have a cold…the vitamin C commonly found in peppers helps fight the cold, and since the food is spicy, you can taste it even when your taste buds are a little dulled from cold…
echinacea helps bolster immunity by increasing th enumber of white bloods cells, too, but it works best at the very beginning when you are just starting to feel the cold, so it may be too late for that now…
if you must do alcohol, Barenjager honey liquer is the BEST
