Another tip about echinacea, you should ONLY use it when you are sick. If you use it regularly as a preventative measure, it doesn't work at all.

Golden Seal is another herb that is good to use too. You can make a tea with it or down it in capsules. Doesn't matter.

Garlic, peppers, and some spices help to burn infections out of your system too. Some of the sweeter peppers, such as ginger, cinnamin, and things like that, will also help to settle your stomach.

Stay away from bulky and fatty foods. You need to flush your system out. If you end up with a lot of mucus, eventually you will want to eat roughage to help scrape the phlegm out of your system.

and, lulu…I like to eat alot of spicy foods (chili, chips and salsa, spicy Indian food)when I have a cold…the vitamin C commonly found in peppers helps fight the cold, and since the food is spicy, you can taste it even when your taste buds are a little dulled from cold…

echinacea helps bolster immunity by increasing th enumber of white bloods cells, too, but it works best at the very beginning when you are just starting to feel the cold, so it may be too late for that now…

if you must do alcohol, Barenjager honey liquer is the BEST

I thought of adding an anti drug statement to the end of my post but didn't want to sound hypocritical,but take Jags word to heart Flawd,they do kill, believe me I know all to well.

I was flipping through the channels and some band was playing before Coldplay won the Best band award.

Half way through the set, naked people came out carrying signs of protest and then when the song ended they held the signs above their heads and they were all in buck. Must have been 30 of them!
