New Morrissey Date?

according to the press release, yeah.
i'm surprised nothing is mentioned on the rams head website though.

i dont think its been cancelled yet. I asked about it on saturday and they havent given refunds yet so i am assuming they are still trying to reschedule.
Anyone get their money back for this show?
I got refunded on my credit card bill….ticketbastard takes out 3 dollars or so to "process" the refund

Bullshit! Are you serious?
yep yep

I got a message on the answering machine the other day from them talking about it, and the amount I got refunded was like 74 and something, when the tix plus service charge was 78
It's true…if you see a big show that gets cancelled and the service charge was about $8 (or a lot more in some cases), that's money that you'll never see again.
Now now, the service charges gets refunded. The $$ that you won't ever see again is the "processing fee", usually $4.10 nowadays.

Maybe that has changed…I could have sworn that I lost a bunch of $$ on a ticket for a particular event. But it's been at least 5 or 6 years. I think for a while they only had service charges, then they tacked on the "processing fee". No matter what, Ticketbastard sux.
went up to philly last night and it was well worth it. the mann center is actually pretty nice, reminds me of wolf trap in a way, definitely a nice outdoor venue. the band was tight and morrissey sounded great. my highlights were "the boy with the thorn in his die"/"let me kiss you"/"everyday is like sunday", "the queen is dead"/"first of the gang to die" intro, and "national front disco". "life is a pigsty" was pretty epic, too.

set-list
The Queen is Dead
First of the Gang to Die
You Have Killed Me
All You Need is Me
In The Future When All's Well
Whatever Happens, I Love You
The Boy With The Thorn in His Side
Let Me Kiss You
Everyday is like Sunday
I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris
Please Please Please Let Me Get What I want
Irish Blood, English Heart
National Front Disco
Disappointed
I Will See You In Far Off Places
I Just Want To See The Boy Happy
Girlfriend in a Coma
At Last I Am Born
Life is a Pigsty (w/ Auld Lang Syne)
How Soon Is Now?

I love the fact that our resident promoter of avant experimental deconstuctionist noise rock traveled 150 miles to see the King of the Crooners.
Dude, that joke is so 14 hours old, though I'm flattered you try your new material out on me first.

damn impressive set list. id have really liked to hear last of the famous… well a few of the songs would have been really nice to hear. glad you enjoyed the show!
Both you and Booker T exhibited positive responses in my sample market test, thus I deemed the comment worthy of public dissemination.

i try to be as predictable as possible! i will always have a soft spot for old-school twee indie-pop (heavenly, field mice, sarah records, etc).
The Aisler's Set. I miss them. Have you seen them play?

the aislers set are the best. man. saw them at galaxy hut back in 99 or 2000, saw them open for yo la tengo at the club a few years ago, they also did a mainstage show at the black cat a while back. they've been silent since "how i learned to write backwards" which came out in early 2003. supposedly new stuff is upcoming, we'll see…

well, i signed this little piece of paper called a lease. it sort of dictates when i'm supposed to move.

i love the aisler's set and have seen them about four times, last being the summer of 2003 at the black cat. actually, i think they opened for YLT in october 2003. IMO, they were the best indie-pop band of the 2000s.

do i lose my experimental guy cred yet?
Back to Morrissey - I think if you got your tix thru Rams Head they refund it all - including fees.
