I guess lesbians have more disposable income given that many of them don't have children nor do they have to buy nice clothes to impress men with. So $75 shouldn't be a detractor.
Personally I wouldn't pay $10 to see her, but the club knows what it's doing because you never see a show cancelled for lack of ticket sales….well, apart from the second B&S show that time. :D
I think it's that you get to see her in such an intimate venue. I mean, think about it, if you were a lesbian, wouldn't you prefer getting to see her while you're scrunched together with a thousand other lesbians?

Originally I had planned to get tickets to one of her shows for my mom's christmas present. But $75? Does she really think she's so great that she can charge $75? I didn't even like her much before, but now I have a new reason.

Plus, there are a lot of people who would see her at a nice suburban venue where you can bring a picnic and a bottle of wine who wouldn't venture into a standing, no seats venue in a so-so part of town with tickets costing twice as much. 4000 tickets at Wolftrap at $20-$45 doesn't necessarily translate to 4x1000 tickets at $75 each at 9:30.

75.00?? is that a new club record??? I wouldnt have gone to see her regardless because its not my cup of tea..but holy batshit..sorry thats just crazy. My salary hasnt gone up in 3 years due to this economy, no way those tickets should be that much. That is completely on the artist, obviously doesnt appreciate her fans too much.
