That is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Check out the Slash Shreds as well.

Unless you are talking about very Mainstream Indie, you are to be ignored, made fun of, lambasted or some other form of outcasting around here. The sheep don't like it.
Not my problem. She's not obscure. People are just ignorant. ;)

alternately, if you mention (or, heaven forbid, admire) anyone who has sold more than 10,000 copies of their last release, your opinions are equally null and void
What ya talking about? Are you saying ALL of us here are sellouts? I like some mainstream and million selling acts as well. I'm listening to Britney right now…

clapton "shredding" is about as cringeworthy as the amy winehouse clip… that shredding sounds an awful like me screwing up playing guitar hero iii on the Wii… just add in annoying sax player and people jumping to their feet for full effect.

No wonder people love him.
They've never played guitar before/

Apparently it is a joke based on youtube comments. I didn't get it until the sax player started playing…

Hands. Down.
i of course realized it was a joke, just couldn't believe how serious it was been taken in the clip by the band and the audience. it seriously sounds like me "shredding" on GHIII.
I don't get it. I must be dumb. In the clips, it doesn't really sound like the guitarist but it's still some pretty good guitar playing, I think. The playing seems to match up to what the guitarist is doing, too.
Could some please explain to me what's going on in these clips? I'm in the dark.

Those are fantastic…very Spinal Tap, like when Nigel starts playing guitars with the violin and his feet.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, I just have to say that Pete Townshend is God. Been loving that "Amazing Journey" special put together by VH-1.
