If I go anywhere it will be to the Marx Cafe for FoGC's "We Fought The Big One"….but, alas, I doubt that I can scrounge up the gas money. :(

But totally worth it 'coz I got 4th row pit :p
oh man, you'll have a blast. last time I saw radiohead was in the front row on the Amnesiac tour…one of the best concert experiences ever.
I've got a birthday dinner and an early plane to NYC the next morning. If I make it anywhere, it'll be Black Cat for Capitol City vs Charm City (Bonapartes, Two if By Sea, The Hard Tomorrows)
I hope that Radiohead will play 2 songs (both new ones that will suck) and then walk off.

DUH!! ;)
Where are they playing? It's supposed to rain Friday night if I'm correct about the weather forecast. Just wondering if I should sure up the windows and hunker down inside with a candle by my side and a good book. :p

mark me down for the black cat show if i'm not feeling too olde…
Black out the windows, its twilight time….
I thought the Bonapart's were breaking up. Is this their last gig?
Other options for Fri. night:
Telograph/Cedars (yea! See you there Fico)/, Soft Complex at Iota (www.iotaclubandcafe.com)
Justin Jones at the Velvet Lounge (www.velvetloungedc.com)
Anthony Fiacco and the Echoes at JamminJava (which now has a hard-liquor license; and a remodeled interior which really opens up the stage area and improved the acoustics. (www.jamminjava.com)
but with all due respect to the above artists, I'd be at radiohead too…I tried. I really, really, tried. (SOB!)

can we finally cross paths?
Is anyone going to the Cat on Saturday for WAG, 60s garage and soul night? The music they play is right up my alley, but nobody I know ever goes…
ps, VISIT DOOMLINK!
ps, VISIT DOOMLINK!
the only option as far as i'm concerned is the twilight singers, though john bustine/justin hoben at the velvet lounge is worth seeing, as he is one of dc's finest and unknown songwriters.
