Jens is amazing. Too bad he always skips DC.

Unfortunately Jens only had a half hour set, but it was wonderful. The main stages were very close together and would alternate bands, as soon as the band at stage A finished stage C would start up. So the sets were shorter, but the opportunity to see more bands was increased. Other highlights include Art Brut, Man Man and Destroyer. Os Mutantes were easily the most enthralling and fun set of the festival.

yeah, i agree … you know he played a solo gig at mercury lounge, and then a full band gig at bowery ballroom a couple of weeks ago, i'm still kicking myself for not cutting class and going up there

He's doing an in-store performance in NYC at Soundfix. So they get him three times in two weeks, and we get zero. Awesome. :mad:
